The solution gives industrial concerns and organizations the ability to develop their own SMS services, created by the customer, its staff, or other project group. In practice that means that PjattCom rents out the platform, for short or long term, to companies or others who can then use Norway’s fastest communication channel, SMS, while avoiding the development costs.

With this venture, ViaNett has received acceptance of its solution for administration, operation, and communication of SMS (textmessaging), and sees PjattCom as a strategic partner.

ViaNett will provide stabile operation of PjattCom’s short number 1901 directly to NetCom and Telenor Mobile.

The solution will be launched in December.

During the development phase, ViaNett was an important partner for PjattCom. "The technological platfrom they developed gives us a way to manage many more transactions through our access number 1901," says PjattCom’s manager Christoffer Arntzen.
