Chess Communication cooperates with ViaNett

ViaNett has signed a commitment for operations, support and development with Chess Communication AS regarding SMS technology. Chess is the third Norwegian and the sixth overall customer with the latest technology plattform for SMS designed by ViaNett and Viva Technologies.  (06/25/2002)

Chess Communication is a Norwegian virtual operator through the Telenor net. One service already in operation, is the ability to search for telephone numbers by SMS.

The ViaNett SMS plattform is buildt by modules. Different  services like logo's and ringing tones, competitions and many more, can be "plugged in" to main plattform. Many of these services may also be included.

ViaNett is constantly developing new components or protocols for communication with new operators worldwide. Some of these components may also be used by organisations that wants buildt in alerts in their software or website.

The company is showing a revenue growth about 80 % during the first half of 2002. The company manager  Lars E. Helland hopes that this contract and others, also will make ViaNett able to grow also in the rest of Europe.
