ViaNett E-commerce is a self-developed product tailored to Norwegian conditions. Inquiries are based on database technology, which enables you to work with an unlimited number of products, prices, and orders. The program can communicate with databases such as Visma Business and Visma micro80. It can, in addition, import and export data to older financial systems, like MultiSoft and micro80.

It establishes product categories corresponding to those you’re used to seeing, such as files in your Windows Explorer. In this way you can build up a simple structure which enables users to find their way without having to search for a single product. Categories can be changed, and you can establish as many levels as you wish.


To manage your pages, log yourself in with your user name and password. You register products by first choosing a category to the left. This brings up a product registration form on the right.

On this form, you can choose to subdivide products into groups, allowing for further definition. (Test demo or go to http://sport.vianett.no) The groups give you simultaneous possibilities to modify what users see on your website. You can establish as many products as you want—there’s plenty of text space—and you can load in pictures of the products. When a picture is loaded in, you open it as you are accustomed to doing: through a window corresponding to ‘file--open’ in Word, and the picture is copied from your PC into the E-commerce system. Then, when you click on “picture”, the system shows you what you’ve loaded in.

You can calculate prices and, for example, regulate the minimum coverage contribution.

Users on the internet can register themselves as customers . You have, in the meantime, full control over passwords and other customer-specific information. You can also drop customers and, naturally, you can also establish customers in the system.

When the customer registers an order, it can be transferred to an order register.
Simultaneously, you can send an order confirmation to the customer, with a copy to yourself. And you can go into the system, look at the orders, and change them. At the same time, you have an archive for looking at earlier orders made over the net.

Through our administration department, we can give you access to, for example, maintenance of news directly on your website. If you choose ViaNett as your sole provider, we will develop an Internet site which, to the greatest possible degree, will make you independent of our assistance. All the data you want to have registered can be saved in a database which can be maintained by you.

If you would like a solution that’s integrated with your financial system, and want the functions mentioned above, we can make up for the fact that you want to maintain it in the register that you are familiar with from before. In this way, maintenance of your website becomes effective, and can be carried out by people who aren’t particularly internet savvy.

You don’t need your own webserver to use the E-commerce system. You can rent space for the system and the internet site from us.
